We have three small playgrounds in our school. One for football, one for cane ball and the last one is the playground with a seesaw, a swing and a roller slide for our kids. We have built this playgrounds with the help of our individual donors like our old friends or some visitors who are the friends of our friends.
There are several reasons why we built these playground. An obvious benefit of our children running around and climbing up and down things is their physical development. Being active is healthy for any person. All you need to do for them is encourage them to use the playground at school during break-time. Playgrounds have some great equipment, disguised as fun in bright colours, that’s perfect for developing their muscles and bettering their overall fitness.
Children that play in playgrounds have a platform to interact, learn and play with other children. From a young age, they can understand the concepts of community and meeting new people. They will learn to have patience, take turns, make acquaintances and friends, and collaborate through their extremely imaginative minds and fantasy games. Everyone coming together on the playground encourages equality and respect where everyone gets a turn, everyone is welcome and everyone has fun regardless of demographics.
