Tun Lin Oo

My name is Mg Tun Lin Oo. I was born on August 11, 2001 at Kyone Sein village, Kyite Ma Yaw Township, Mon State. Currently, my parents are staying at Mae Sot as migrant workers because of family financial problem. Thus, I also moved to Mae Sot, Thailand where my parents worked in order to study at Thailand. I have four siblings among us, I am the eldest son. Even though my parents are not educated people, they encourage us to study and try hard. My father goes and works alone at Bangkok away from our family to be able to support us. My mother stays with us to take care four of us in Mae Sot.

I started to learn Kindergarten from until Grade-7 at Good Morning School which is also a migrant school. After I have passed Grade-7 at there and then I transferred to New Blood School to be able to attend the rest grades. New Blood School, a migrant school, offers Kindergarten to Grade-10, Matriculation class so I continued my studying from Grade-8 to until Grade-10 at there with a contact by Good Morning School. I have passed all the final exam yearly and in 2017-2018 academic year, I also passed matriculation. Because of teachers, my parents, and donors I was able to study and try hard to overcome all my challenges in studying. I am also very proud of myself because I am the first one who finished matriculation exam with 297 score out of 600 successfully. Currently one of my younger brothers is also studying and hardly trying at matriculation class in New Blood School. Among the migrant schools which teach Grade-10. New Blood School is one of the best school for students. This school is being successful because of good association and participation among teachers, parents and donors. In 2017-2018 academic result, our school, New Blood got good result that 16 out of 53 students passed in migrant area.
