Mu War Theint

My name is Mu Awar Theint and I was born in 16.9.1998. My birthplace is Karen state, Kyar Inn Seik Gyi Township, Lann Par villageMy parents support me to continue my education by farming. I am now studying at Hpa-an University. Before that, I studied at New Blood School. I started attending school to grade-7 in Kyar Inn Seik Gyi Township, Lann Par village and then I continued my grade-8 in Chawn Htuwn School, Kawkareik Township. For we could only learn just grade-7 in our village, I had to move to Chawn Htwun School to keep attending grade-8. After that, I continued learning grade 9 and 10 in Karen student’s shelter, Hpa-An city.

I took matriculation exam firstly in 2015-2016, but I failed and It has been 2 years that I lived in Hpa-An for I couldn’t pass the exam. So, I came to Mae Sot and started grade-10 again in 2017-2018 at the school of New Blood which is opened for migrant children. Finally, I passed the exam. For the main reason that I came to New Blood School and attended grade-10 is that there was not enough money to continue learning in Myanmar. My parents told me to leave school for I couldn’t pass the matriculation exam after 2 years. My aunt looked for the place, New Blood School, for me to attend grade-10 again. So that, with my aunt’s plan I came to there and took the exam in 2017-2018 again. I passed the exam for I tried so hard with the help of instruction from all teachers in the New Blood School. My purpose to attend the university in Hpa-An is to get degree and be a nurse and also to help people who have not enough money to get cure. I would like also to get back and help New Blood School for it let me to pass matriculation exam.
