Kaung Thurein Soe

My name is Mg Kaung Thu Rain Soe and I am 17 years old. I was born in Myawaddy Township, Karen state on 5-2-2001. I studied Kindergarten to grade-3 in A.Ma.La.Ka 3 School in Myawaddy until 2009. After that, in 2010, we were not lucky as my father and mother separated each other because of some arguments. At the same time, our family’s situation was not stable and we could not stay anymore in my mother township. Thus, our 4 siblings and mother moved to Thailand. There my mother worked many difficult jobs by giving us a chance to continue our education. Accordingly, I attended grade-4 at New Day school in 2011, and I continued grade-5 to 8 at Good Morning, which is very good to me, until 2014, and that school encouraged me and supported me a lot.

Moreover, I moved New Blood school as my teachers from Good Morning suggested me to attend there. Thus, I studied at New Blood school started from 2015, I faced one of the very sad events that my father was dead in that year, until I pass the matriculation exam in 2017-18 academic year, and during these years I was very good condition in New Blood school because in school most people from New Blood helped me and also I got the support from Good Morning donor, All You Need is Love, so I would like to say thank a lot to my donors.

Also, I had faced a lot challenges to pass matriculation examination as I was a disable person, who could not walk like other people. However, I was not depressed as I could control my mind for my future. Even though I tried very hard for grade-10, I failed the first year of matriculation examination. I retried very hard and I finally passed the exam in 2017-2018 academic years with the score of 352. I am now attending at Hpa-an University specializing in English Language.
